Currently we offer Preceptors in the Psychiatric Mental Health field. That’s where we have established preceptor relationships and where we can place you reliably. If you need a different specialty, contact us anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can help rather than start a search we cannot finish.

We match students with preceptors across Arizona and nationwide. Our home office is in Tucson, and our preceptor network spans multiple states and continues to grow – with telehealth and compact licensure opening up more cross-state options. Tell us your state and specialty and we’ll check availability.

Often, yes. The Nursing Compact State License Agreement can simplify multi-state rotations, but requirements vary by state and school – contact us with your state and we’ll check.

Schools accept our preceptors at a high rate. In the rare case one is not accepted, contact us and we will investigate. The problem is usually solvable. If it is not, we will find you a replacement preceptor or refund your money.

The sooner you start your search, the higher possibility you have of finding the right Preceptor. We can schedule for as far as 1 year in advance. Conversely, if your schedule is tight, we can still help you. No matter how little time you have, contact us, and we will do our absolute best to accommodate you.

Timelines vary because every student’s needs are different, but on average we find a suitable preceptor within two weeks. If we cannot, we let you know as early as possible so you have time to search elsewhere, and your search fee is refunded.

We do not explicitly have a minimum or maximum number of hours. Every situation varies, and we work to accommodate your specific needs. As long as your requested number of hours can reasonably fit within one semester.

We screen carefully and work only with preceptors who prioritize teaching. On the rare occasion a preceptor does not hold up to our standards, we take student input seriously, investigate, and end the working relationship if necessary.
